The property is located on Piers Island, a beautiful small island in the Gulf Islands just off Vancouver Island in the Strait of Georgia between Vancouver Island and the Canadian Mainland. The property has its own pier and dock. It is sheltered from the prevailing winds and seas. The house is a two level hexagonally shaped building.

Upon entry you immediately note the extremely large master chef`s kitchen, the focal point of the upper level, which also includes an entry way, living room with fireplace, and dining room. The kitchen includes a massive granite island with a built in six burner Viking gas cooktop, a warming oven, and a wine refrigerator. The refrigerator/freezer is a Viking side by side with ample freezer space and icemaker. There are two Gaganeau ovens, one for everyday use and the other, a steam oven, for baking. The double sink also includes a built in garbage disposal. A trash compactor is also built in for ease of trash removal. The dishwasher is an ultra quiet two drawer Fisher & Paykel dishwasher. The cabinets are all cherry and offer more than ample storage space. The Kitchen floor is Italian slate and the remainder of the area is oak.

On the upper level there is a very large master bedroom with fireplace and with ensuite facilities featuring both a chromatherpy Jucuzzi and a steam shower, and two sinks and a bidet. The guest bedroom, located on the same floor, includes a beautiful ensuite bathroom. Both bedroom floors are oak and the bathrooms are terracotta and tile.

The lower level includes a large family/recreation room, a bar with a built in beer tap and sink, another bathroom, a laundry room, a storage room, and the services room. The entire lower level flooring is tile with the exception of the service room which is textured cement. There is also a central vacuum system to help ease the cleaning efforts. In addition there is a crawl space for additional storage.

The property itself is all wooded with many plants including a Rhododendron garden and a path from the island road down to the house. A large cedar deck surrounds the entire house.

The view from the property is stunning and is considered by most islanders to be the best on the island. Vancouver Island can be seen to the west and Salt Spring Island to the Northwest. Sunsets are magnificent. Excellent crabs can be caught from the dock and excellent fishing and prawning is only minutes away by small boat. Some of the worlds best scuba diving is only three minutes by boat.
