The Waterfront
Easy access with small white sand beach ideal for small
boats, kayaks, canoes and swimming. Your boat can
be moored offshore which is protected from prevailing
winds. There are two community docks which cost
approx. $150.00 per year to use. The property also has solid
yellow cedar stairs that includes a 12v winch (2.5 ton)
with cart for unloading heavy items and firewood to/from
the beach.
The Land (Lot 44)
Protected in its natural state with rocky outcroppings, the
site faces southwest and is perched above a small white
sand beach cove. The lot is .37 acre (.15 hectare). Stair-free
access is an easy 3 minutes walk from either community
dock. Membership in community dock is included (Value:
$2,500.00). The yearly dock fee is $150.00. Maximum boat
length is 20 ft.
Wise Island
Wise Island is located at 48°54’N., 123°27’W and covered
with arbutus, fir, juniper and abundant marine and bird life.
There are no deer, rats or mice on the island! The island is
situated on the south side of Galiano Island and located
within a five minute boat ride to Montague Harbour Marina
and a 20 minute boat ride to Ganges Harbour on Salt
Spring Island. The island is divided into 48 non-strata lots,
has three small parks and has a pathway that runs the
length of the island East-West (no vehicles!). This property
is easily reached by private boat. There is a barge service
available for transporting heavy goods, etc. |
